When enquiring about, requesting or using our products & services, we may collect:
– Your company/ organisation name, your name and names of relevant colleagues/ partners that you provide to us.
– Contact information such as addresses, phone numbers and email addresses provided to us.
This information will be used to:
– Advise on, quote against, provide and subsequently audit the products/ services offered by us to you.
– Enable record keeping for use in your own audits as well as our own.
– Enable us to meet our contractual obligations to you.
– Allow us to monitor the performance of our service.
– Administer your customer account.
– Enable us to comply with our legal obligations.
You may opt not to provide certain personal information to us but we must outline that this could affect our ability to service your requirements as a customer.
What are cookies?

When we may contact you using the information collected.
You may be contacted using information you have provided to us in order for us to fulfil your request for our products/services. This may include contact from your Innovent Recycling Ltd representative for feedback post-collection as well as providing assistance in your ability to access your relevant documentation (e.g. asset reports, waste transfer notes, data destruction certification). Contact may also be made to you by us in in order to administer your account including the querying of any outstanding invoices.
Depending on your marketing preferences, we may also contact you from time to time regarding updates to our product/ service offerings and to provide information on when we are next collecting hardware in your area. If you have opted in for this, you may check your current marketing preferences, amend your current marketing preferences or opt out at any time by clicking the update/ unsubscribe link in our marketing emails or contact us at email@example.com.
How long we keep information and how do we store it?
We class existing customers as those who have used our services. Against their account we store their contact information as well as records of previous services we have undertaken for them (collections, data destruction etc.), we also keep records of any previous invoices. This information is filed on their account for a maximum of 10 years since the last time the client uses our service/s.
We class potential customers as those who have made enquiries into our service but not yet booked the use of our services. Details of these potential customers are stored for a maximum of 36 months from initial contact so that we may keep in touch regarding the potential need for our services.
We store all information collected on our encrypted servers. We have implemented internal access controls to ensure only Innovent Recycling Ltd employees who need to process personal data have access to it in addition to network security implementation to prevent unwanted external access.
In some cases, data may be stored outside of the EEA on secure servers. Safeguards are in place to ensure the secure transmission and storage of data.
Internally at Innovent Recycling, the assignment of numerical job numbers to each uplift serves to anonymise uplifted consignments and means our employees can process and recycle our clients’ equipment without handling/ witnessing the contact information of these clients.
Subject Access and deletion of information.
Any individual may request access to a copy of their personal data held by Innovent Recycling. Providing data is being held, retrieving a copy of such information may incur a fee of up to £10 and be subject to a wait time of up to 15 working days. Requests will be dealt with in accordance with GDPR (Article 15).
Any individual may request amendments to their personal data held by Innovent Recycling where it is incomplete or inaccurate.
Any individual may also request deletion of their personal data held by Innovent Recycling Ltd. This request will be dealt with in accordance with GDPR (Article 17).
Sharing and transfer of data
Innovent Recycling Ltd may share required contact information with partners that help support our services. We may work with these partners to provide services such as automated mailings and the processing of payments. The companies will only be provided with information required to provide services to us and are contractually not permitted to use your data for their own purposes. These partners will never be permitted to contact you directly and are instructed to delete any data after processing is complete.
This policy will be updated as appropriate so we ask you check regularly for any amendments. Dependent on contact preferences, we may email our clients to inform of any updates.
